In my bag I tend to always carry a pen and my charger. I always carry a pen because you never know what you would have to write down. I always carry my charger because in case of emergencies I would like to have my phone charged. I guess these items can say that I’m responsible for things. I’m always prepared for something even if something bad wasn’t to happen.

I think that it is very smart for you to carry your charger because without it if anything bad was to happen in a situation where your phone dies then you would need it to communicate. Also, carrying a pen will help in a situation too. so i feel that you have made a very wise choice to carry these items.

I chose to “hump” my wallet and my phone because they are two things that can identify me in any emergency. To me, I would consider my wallet intangible because I never take it out unless I need to. My wallet is my life, because I have everything in there that I would ever need. My phone is tangible because I am always using it. Mainly for music because it calms me down, and it helps me ignore everyone that irritates me.

Somethings I carry is my phone for emergency purposes and I also carry my chap stick because I don’t like chapped lips and I love my chap stick. i carry my phone cause it has everything in it, all my families numbers everything that I need if I ever need anything or if I’m in a bad situation. So that’s why I always carry my phone and chap stick.

I would do the same. I would carry a cellphone because it is very important for me to stay in touch with my parents. I need to know where their at and emergency purposes. If i need to call someone i will have it there with me and not ask someone for theirs. It is very convenient for me. A chap-stick is also what i would carry too because I wouldn't like it if my lips are dry, sore, or even cracked . I would want my lips to be moisterized. I also need it to feel good about myself followed by that applying lipstick.

The Things They Carry
Two things that I carry are a backpack and cellphone. I carry the the backpack to store my items in or any important paper that I know I’m going to need. I carry my cellphone for the substitution of paper and a pen. I have a smartphone so I would need to do is type the important specific information that I need to remember. That would be my main reason to “hump” these items everywhere I go. Especially if you’re a person that loses things fast or forget things often. The backpack would be to carry my items and the phone would be to store the information.
These items would be tangible for me because they would be right at hand I would be able to have access to them when I needed them without having to search for them. Like the backpack would be big and visible there’s no way I would miss seeing it and my phone would most likely always be in my pocket. These items say that I like to keep things by my side. I think im more like Jimmy Cross because he carries personal letters from Martha.

I chose cellphone too to carry around with me for emergency purposes or emails being sent to me. Back pack well I didn't think about it till now. That would be a great thing to bring with me all the time because I would keep my items i need there. I do bring my bookbag to school and a purse outside of school when going out. I would also compare myself to Jimmy Cross because Jimmy carried Martha's photos around and what I would also do is carry a photo of my boyfriend if I was in war. Since I don't want to be, I would carry something that was given from him to me. To show I care about him.

The two items I carry in my backpack is my cellphone and lump sum of money on me. I’ve chosen these items to hump with because they are important to me. My cellphone I use to communicate to the people that are my friends and blood. I picked currency because it allows me to get the things I need, things in this world aren’t free. Both of these things are tangible.
These items are very important to me because without a cellphone I would not be able to communicate with my friends and family. In emergency situation I’ll be able to get in contact with them immediately if anything. Money is also important because ill be able to buy food to eat and clothes to wear. I compare myself to Jimmy Cross because hes the leader of his squad. I try to lead my friends in a good direction and motivate them as much as possible.

Carrying your phone all the time and money is a very smart thing to carry because first of all if you always carry money if there is ever a bad situation your in you can use that money if you actually need it. Second having your phone if berry smart too because same reasons if you need to communicate with your family and or friends if ever in a bad situation.

I agree with Nathan Hale, carrying money will also be a number one necessity, in case one day you get stuck somewhere you can call cab or an Uber and it'll hopefully help you out. Also carrying your phone on order to make your phone calls. I suggest that you take a cell phone charger or cable with a portable charger in case the phone ruins out of battery.

The two items I brought with me in my back pack were money and music. As long as I have money and music I'll be happy anywhere. Money is so I can buy clothes and food, the music is for motivation and to keep me focused. Music helps calm me down in times of danger and when I may need help keeping my mind off other things.

Kit Carson

Those are two good choices you've made there. Money is always best to have with you in case of any emergency. Music is always best as well. It always tends to relax at the best time. But you should actually choose another item to carry in case of an emergency but either way, thsee are good things.

I Chris Kyle am a crazed war hero who protects and serves my country for the greater good. I have a wife and three beautiful children. My kids names are Jacob, Noah, and Sheily Kyle. My wife's name is Heather she works in a hospital as a surgical doctor.
My parents both died of Cancer and I have no siblings. I was adopted by a man who fought for this country as well. He influenced me to step into the cruel world of the army.

If I was there I would've brought morphine for myself god forbid if I ever get shot this would help me cope with the pain. I would also bring a Notebook and pen to record all the events so I could write a book about my troubles when I get back from the war. This way ill be able to make a living even after everything that happened to me in the war I'd sell novels for profit.

The items that I carry around in my purse are lipstick and my I phone. These things I always carry around because I can’t leave the house without my lipstick. The tangible part that something can be touched or felt is I wanted something emotional, so the color brought me emotion and loving. I love color, and the product name “Wet n Wild” is my favorite. The intangible part that is unable to be touched is when I apply moisture lipstick, it gives me moisturized lips and keeps it nice and healthy. For my I phone, the tangible part is that it can’t be changed for example the size of the phone, color of phone, or the way it looks. The intangible part is when there is no wifi connection in your cell phone in school then it is intangible because you can’t make signal to it. The phone services and when your waiting for a call or someone leaves a voice mail is part of it too. My lipstick is my #1 item I need to have in my purse because it makes me feel good about myself makes me feel beautiful. Most importantly, lipstick defines me. I need it in order to feel happy about myself. Another most important item I should have in my purse is my I phone I need to carry it around for security and to get my emails, text messages, phone calls etc…I need to know everything important that is going on. I need it with me 24/7.

One of the characters in the short story “The Things They Carried” by Tim O’Brien I can compare myself to is to Lieutenant Jimmy Cross because he loves Martha and kept thinking about her throughout the war. He is also an emotional type. He asked a lot of questions such as he wanted to know what is she doing and if she is hanging out with any guys. He also asked the question why so alone? I would want to know a lot about the person I love and why so alone. In the short story a quote to understand more is “Why so alone? Not lonely, just alone – riding her bike across campus or sitting off by herself in the cafeteria.”(O Brien pg 4) I sometimes have that question in my head when I feel like my friends like to be alone. I feel like they need to be with someone and need company. I remember to respect there preferences. I am also like Martha because if I was dating someone I would give them a small gift or a picture of me if we were distance away from each other. Martha gave him a good luck. Although, we had to pick one person I pick Lieutenant Jimmy Cross. He best defines me.
