Women in this video encourages other women from in and outside that country to speak up for themselves and to not give up. The Taliban mainly tried to or is trying to take over Afghanistan because of climate change but then again is trying to take control of education for women and banning them from going to college/school. A female named Fauzia is helping to make a big difference since they aren't able to get the humanitarian aid they need. Also, they can get killed by trying to make a change or be free. We as a whole can help encourage Afghanians to keep trying and help educate them.

Yeah i Like that they help each other out and they fight to have a better life. They encourage each other to fight more and more everyday to have a better life and to live through what they are going through because it is horrible for what they are experiencing.

I believe that the best course of action for these women to take after watching the video is that they should keep trying to make their voices and their stories be heard by sharing their experiences with people outside of their country like they're doing now, so they can keep shedding light about the oppression and hardships that they are going through; so that people on the outside can try as best as they can to help them in their ongoing battle, whether it's with spreading their stories or anything else.

The women from this video encourage other people to take action with them because in Afghanistan, they have an extremely difficult time from doing normal things like going to school. These women can be put into prison or get instantly beaten or killed if they tried to make a change.

I agree that this video inspires others to take action.

The video informs the viewer about the abuse women in afghanistan have to go through. After the Taliban took over woman lost their jobs and aren't allowed to get an education anymore. The woman is this video protests these laws and have to find ways to inform the rest of the world without getting caught or they will be put in jail and tortured. The people in this video are brave and they inspire me to fight for my rights.

“But after four years of marriage, Mariam saw clearly how much a woman could tolerate when she was afraid.” (p. 98)

This quote shows peoples resistance to victimization. Miriam has been in an abusive and toxic relationship for years, constantly second guessing, and constantly living in fear. However, even though she had to endure these harsh and unfair conditions, she was still able to push through and thrive.

“Where I come from, a woman’s face is her husband’s business only.” (p. 70)

This shows systematic victimization of women due to patriarchal institutions due to the fact that women are constantly oppressed and not allowed to reap the same benefits as men due to their gender and these old fashioned laws instituted in their country.

“I thought about you all the time. I used to pray that you’d live to be a hundred years old. . . . I didn’t know that you were ashamed of me.” (p. 55)

This shows man's inhumanity to man. You could see Mariam has so much love and affection for her father, hoping he could grow to an old age and be by her side as long as possible. Only for her to force her negative feelings on her, saying she's a disgrace to him and he's ashamed of his own daughter.

About Women in afghanistan taking women's rights and taking away many of their jobs. They are being neglected and they are being treated unfairly because of the Taliban and what they are doing to them. Many of them are taking action of the injustice that they are experiencing but they take caution because anytime they can be killed for taking action against what they are doing to them.
