This is a link to a classic writing refence book used in colleges and high schools to support higher level writing. Please read and use whenever you are inventing and composing a writing assignment and you have a question about grammar or mechanics.
Responsibilities and Requirements 2017-2018
->While reading, keep your Study Guide Questions nearby to complete as you read. The purpose of these questions is to check for comprehension and will be checked randomly throughout the unit.
->You will be required to keep a Dialectical Journal based upon specific focus questions. These will be used to develop your end of unit creative project. This will be counted towards your and will be assessed for quality NOT just quantity.
->Reading Assessments and Pop-Quizzes will be both announced AND unannounced. Going to the nurse, bathroom, Guidance or any other issue is not reason enough to NOT take a quiz. You have been forewarned.
->In preparation for the end of the year research paper, we will begin practicing the research process by creating a Position Paper Annotated Bibliography . Part of this assignment will entail making Note Cards.
->This unit will culminate in a major writing assignment: the Critical Lens Essay.
