My professor this past semester shared this video that another student of hers had made. It was his project in another course and as you can see is quite an impressive use of vimeo and raw talent! He is using this as a way to reach kids both in the classroom and later for "refreshing" at home or elsewhere. Imagine if an entire English department each took a writing trait and developed a video mini-lesson like this to add to a bank of videos to be used in the school? It could be used as part of a lesson in class but also for students to access outside to strengthen their writing whenever necessary! I am starting to develop my own video lesson this summer.
